MONTHLY WEDNESDAY EVENING YOGA CLASSES - November 4, December 3
We are offering a monthly yoga class on the first Wednesday of every month from 6:00 - 7:15pm. The class will be taught in a Phoenix Rising style. Each class will have a specific theme/focus and through questions and instruction of yoga postures, you will be led to experience each theme and how it relates to your Life. These classes can be taken off of your regular Yoga class card. THE NEXT CLASS IS ON NOVEMBER 4. THE THEME WILL BE "TAKING A CLOSER LOOK AT YOUR FOURTH CHAKRA" AND WILL LEAD YOU THROUGH AN EXPLORATION OF THE PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL ASPECTS OF THIS CHAKRA (including your ability to give and receive love to and from yourself and others, the amount of balance/imbalance in your life, grief, feelings of acceptance or rejection, your ability to be compassionate as well as the physical connections to disorders of the heart, lungs, thymus gland, breasts, arms, asthma, immune system deficiency.) If any of these strike a chord with you, this may be the perfect opportunity to take a deeper look. Please feel free to call Stephanie with any questions. (Just a heads up that the theme for December's class will be "Taking a closer look at your Fifth Chakra" which has to do with communication, your ability to express yourself and your creativity and your ability to listen to yourself and others. It is related physically to your throat, thyroid gland and parathyroid gland, your neck, shoulders and ears.)

LETTING GO OF THE OLD...RINGING IN THE NEW...Sunday, December 28 (2:00pm - 3:15pm)
Once again we will be offering our end of the year yoga class. As we move towards the end of one year and into the birth of a brand new one, it is a great time to do an inventory of sorts. A time to look back on the previous year to really take in what we have experienced...the good and not so good...the joyful and the challenging... in every area of our lives. As we allow ourselves to look back, we also allow ourselves to get really clear about everything that happened to us. Then we have a choice...hold on, or let go. In the world of yoga, holding on happens in several ways. Physically it shows up as holding, gripping, tightening or tensing of muscles, joints, organs, connective tissues and cells. Emotionally it manifests as recurring emotions such as anger, fear or guilt. It shows up in our thoughts through continually coming back to thoughts around an experience that has already happened or is yet to happen in the future. Spiritually, it can show up as a feeling of being disconnected from our Spirit. When we make the choice to let go of what no longer serves us in all of these areas, we free up the energy which was spent holding on. This letting go literally creates the space for new things to come in. This process feels particularly symbolic at the end of the year. As a way to harness the benefits of this process, we will once again be offering a special Yoga Class on Sunday, December 28 from 2:00 - 3:15pm. The class is a Phoenix Rising inspired class where the themes will be "Letting go of what you don't want to take into 2015 and Creating your Intentions for the New Year". It is regular yoga class that will be taken off your class card or the regular drop-in fee of $15 if you do not have a class card. Please join us for this inspiring class...
